Elegant Sexy Strapless Backless Sheath Wedding Dress with Front Slit and Train
While visiting my sister in Raleigh, she surprised me with a visit to Alexia's Bridal Boutique. As a Covid bride, I had started to lose some of my optimism for the big day and that included finding a dress. After 5-8 gowns I turned to my sister and mom and said “You all can pick, I know you will choose the best.” Then a miracle happened! The lovely salesperson asked me to try one more dress! And it was perfect :) With tears in my eyes, I said yes to the dress!
I loved my Margot dress. It is all silk, has an invisible back and straps, a high slit, and very forgiving ruching. It was light, romantic, and sexy! It shapes to your curves, providing a very flattering silhouette.
The dress is a size 14. I did not do any alterations how every did add a loop to hold the skirt during my first dance and breast cups so I did not have to wear a bra (easily removable). I also bought the additional bow so the dress has two translucent clips to accommodate for the bow. They can be removed easily or utilized for the bow. I will not be selling the bow as I am going to keep it for a baby crib.
I only wore the dress one day and did not wear it during the dancing portion of my wedding. The dress barely looks worn and only due to the silk nature has small areas of wear that can only be seen an inch away.
This dress made me beyond happy and I hope it can make another bride feel even more special!
