****BRAND-NEW, NEVER-WORN AMSALE ASTOR BALLGOWN!***** beautiful, elegant Amsale Astor is a "faille de soie ballgown with a bateau neckline and illusion back." It is the perfect ballgown silhouette: full-skirted and elegantly simple but with a sheer back to add sexiness. (It also has hidden pockets!) This amsale astor is bridal size 8, street size 2. I purchased it at Kleinfeld and have had it out of the protective covering only once since then: to have a bridal tailor add color-coded bustle fasteners to the underside of the modest train, so you can lift the skirt one, three or five inches for dancing and photos. I love this dress beyond belief and got it for our big Vegas wedding....but now we are eloping, so I never wore the dress! It is brand-new for you. I am posting photos from the knot website instead of taking the dress out of its protective covering (i have a black lab and don't want to risk adding fur to the beautiful dress. I actually have the dress in its original packaging sewn into a sheet cocoon so my curious fiance would not be able to sneak peeks at it!). The dress is the ivory/ vanilla color featured in the second two photos than a white-white. I am 5'4" and 111 pounds, blonde with light skin that tans almost olive in summer. I wear a street size 2. my measurements are 36 - 24 - 36 and the dress fit me absolutely perfectly when I tried it on with a one-inch Badgley Mischka heel. No alterations necessary. I had planned to accessorize with a dramatically feathered fascinator to leave the sheer back exposed but the dress will look equally lovely with a more traditional veil.
