I absolutely fell in love with this dress after shopping for 7 months and going to 8 different shops (not including dresses I bought online). I wanted something simple and classic, which this dress is!
I love the v-neck front and v-back. I also loved the small detail under the arms: a sheer v that creates a nude look. I love that it wasn't poofy, fit my body, and showed off my figure. Overall super comfy, great for dancing classic dress! It was exactly what I was looking for.
The dress is in great shape. I wore it to my mountain wedding, which was outside, and the train (which I shortened, see below) has a tiny bit of wear and discoloration underneath because of my wedding being outside.
One note about size: it was a bridal size 6 on the top and bridal size 14 on the bottom; they said this was cheaper than ordering the bigger size and altering down.
I cut the train quite a bit because I didn't want something long outside. We made a simple bustle. I also loved adding a cute sash!
Alterations: not a ton was done to this dress.
- Taken in at the shoulders
- Added cups to the bust
- Shortened the train (the wedding was outdoors and a slightly shorter train was desired). There is still about a 3 ft train.
- American style bustle added.
