This stunning dress was purchased brand new from the 2015 Berta Bridal Collection, during a one time New York City trunk show. It has been featured as a top gown in Belle Magazine. It has a sweetheart neckline with thin pearl straps, and delicate, intricate white and ivory lace along the front, sides and back. The back of the dress drops low to give a sexy and slimming look, with V-shaped lacing of the entire mid-to low-back. The lace overlies nude chiffon fabric to provide the gorgeous illusion of lace detailing along the body. This gown has been worn once without any damage, and is in pristine condition. Berta designed the gown worn by Miss USA, and this wedding dress is no exception to her elegant, chic and magnificant masterpieces. High-end alterations were done by the NYC bridal store's expert seamstress, and can easily be reversed or altered further as needed. Nearly $1,000 of alterations were performed, which have been excluded from the original dress pricing, and are being provided with the dress, free of charge. The dress was originally made in a size 12, in order to fit comfortably around the hips, as this mermaid style gown runs snug along the hips and thighs. The waist and upper torso were taken in to provide a striking and form-fitting look along the curves of the body, bringing the overall dress size to a range of 8-10. Additional alterations include: adding invisible boning to provide comfort, lift and cup support; tacking down of the inner sheer lining so as to not be seen wrinkling from within while wearing; a beautiful bustle to make dancing in the dress both easy and comfortable while maintaining the mermaid allure; additional lacing applied to provide sophisticated, classy chest coverage while adding an elegant and glamourous look to the gown.
